Safety: Our platform for operation

At Comter México, safety is not a poster on the wall or a checklist to pass an audit. It is the foundation on which our workshop operates and the guarantee we offer our clients. Working with high-complexity electronics and partners like Molex, Flex or Sanmina has taught us that a safe environment is the only acceptable environment.

We manage risks proactively to protect what matters most: the integrity of our team, the confidentiality of your information, and the absolute reliability of the equipment we repair. We do not conceive quality repair without a work environment that meets the highest safety standards.

The three pillars of our safety culture

People safety
Team protection
Our technicians are trained in the safe handling of precision tools, soldering stations and diagnostic equipment. We use appropriate PPE: anti-impact safety glasses, dielectric footwear, ESD coats and respiratory protection when needed. We comply with STPS provisions to ensure a risk-free work environment.
Process safety
ESD & LOTO control
Handling sensitive electronic boards requires extreme control of electrostatic discharges (ESD). Our work areas have floors, tables, tools and calibrated anti-static wristbands. We apply lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures when working on energized equipment and follow strict chemical handling standards.
Information safety
Confidentiality
We understand that the equipment we repair may contain software, configuration data or invaluable intellectual property. We operate with confidentiality protocols, restricted access to repair areas and non-disclosure agreements with our staff. Your IP is as safe as your equipment.
PCB safety measures when repairing boards - Comter México

Safe work on boards

ESD control, appropriate tools and procedures that protect each component. Precision repair demands an environment where process safety is part of the outcome.

Electrostatic discharge (ESD) control

Where others see static, we see a controlled risk. In the repair of sensitive electronic components, an invisible electrostatic discharge can mean the difference between a repaired unit and future intermittent failure or latent damage.

Protected work area (EPA)

Our entire workshop is configured as an ESD-protected area, with floors, tables and workstations connected to ground.

Compliance and certifications

Safety is demonstrated, not promised. Our commitment is backed by strict compliance with Mexican and international regulations. We operate under STPS guidelines and our ISO 9001:2015 and REPSE certifications require continuous improvement in all our processes.

By choosing Comter México, you don't just hire a repair; you hire the peace of mind that your equipment and your people are in the hands of professionals for whom safety is the top priority.
